Curmudgeon Keyboard does not collect, store, or transmit what you type. It has no analytics, no advertising, and no accounts.
The keyboard keeps its settings, your personal dictionary, and the words it learns from your typing in the app's private storage on your phone. This data never leaves the device unless you export it yourself using the backup feature, which writes a file where you choose to save it.
The keyboard does not request the Internet permission. It cannot send data anywhere. Links inside the settings, such as to this website, open in your browser.
As an input method the app needs the system permission to act as a keyboard, which Android grants when you enable it. The app also declares these permissions, each for one optional feature:
No third-party services receive data from the app. Google Play may collect installation and crash statistics under Google's own policies, which are outside our control.
The app is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
